Here the list dynamic DNS that I tried

  1. ip-dynamic
    This is add ons service for indihome users. It’s work great under indihome connection. Why not using this service anymore? If you have a new indihome connection you have to registered to use this add ons but it was pain to register. Their twitter account, chat service, even call center really bad & slow, just remembering this make me feel very upset and angry.

  2. no-ip
    Simple interface, good documentation & it’s free… but only for 30 day. Their service always free, but after 30 days you cannot use same domain. You have to manually add new domain every 30 day because your cannot use your old domain

  3. DynDNS
    I don’t know why I try this thing when it really not free. I just googling “free dynamic dns” and this thing come up at first page, so I think it’s free, while it’s not

  4. dynu DNS
    It’s free but they have weird domain list name. They got windows & linux client/updater, their documentation was very good too. Maybe this was best free alternative dynamic DNS

  5. duckdns
    It’s really free service from duckdns. They say they using AWS as their server and that make me think it will be more reliable than other. Their client/updater documentation was perfect. You should try this service

Conclusion, ip-dynamic was best option for indihome user, it embed with your indihome connection so you don’t have to setup updater/client. Hope Telkom can solve their customer service issues, so customer don’t have come to Gerai Telkom just to registered their indihome. But duckdns was best option for me nowg
