The user said they want to have a GUI for their web server, but they got no money to buy cPanel.
So I looking for a free & simple control panel that can do the job. I try to install ajenti, but it mess up my VPS at the end.
I need control panel that I can use as soon as possible after installation & I found aaPanel.
Installation
It’s takes 10-15 minute.
You can choose what software to use as your web server (Apache/nginx/TEngine), all software was build from source, so it will take a long time at installation.
The app store was cool, you can easily add software like phpmyadmin, ftp manager, docker, nodeJS, etc.

The dashboard was really simple (which I like), easy to use even for beginner.
Web Server
Web server was the main purpose of this panel, it should be easy for beginner to use it.
I using nginx for this installation, if you have experience to setup virtual host using nginx, you can tell this thing was really awesome.
They even got https auto installation with let’s encrypt, their config was better & cleaner than my manually writing config :)

They using ufw as their firewall.
You cannot use ufw advanced command like block some IP or block IP subnet, you just can add block or allow some port in this panel.

Live Update
Easy, simple, & really fast. Just have to click update menu at top right & it will automatically update your aaPanel.
Conclusion
Great software with simple UI, easy to use, lighweight & free. Try & you will love it.
